Childhood Memories

Am I the only person reliving my childhood through my children? In the past month we've watched The Secret of Nimh, She-Ra, Voltron and Rainbow Brite and the Star Stealer. We've also played Cooties, built Playmobil scenes, bought My Little Pony and made pot-holders on the loom.

I'm thinking Chinese jumprope, jelly shoes and latch hook rugs are next.

What childhood memories are you foisting on your kids?

I don't have kids, but I'd share all of my favorite Disney movies, Dumbo, Bambi, the Jungle Book as well as Cats Cradle and building "eagles'" nests by making a mess of twigs in the highest branches of the tallest trees in the yard :)

Here from ICLW - That sounds like so much fun! I'd totally forgotten about Chinese jumprope. My son is only 2, so I'm mainly reliving childhood through Sesame Street. Also, since he's a boy, he probably will not grow to enjoy the things I enjoyed as a kid. I can try, though. :)
